I meant to leave my hotel hours ago, but I got hung up after realizing a huge chunk of photos was not uploaded (and therefore not backed up).
Now, if you go to photos.dee-rob.com you’ll see a whole bunch of photos from the past week. The missing chunk was from around days 6 and 7 and for now, they are completely out of order. Ah well, too much to see to worry now.
The importance of this chunk is the importance of our very existence. It was the spooky time when I almost heard Jesus whispering in my ear.
At sunset, somewhere in Texas’ panhandle I was thinking that I needed something silhouetted in the fading western sky to underscore the vast bareness before me. Lo and behold (as I guess is always said in “lo and behold” Jesus moments), there on the horizon was the “LARGEST CROSS IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE.”
I missed the exit, as I was so profoundly caught up in the vision itself. But, I drove and snapped pictures at roughly 80 mph.
